The evening will explore the evolving relationship between architectural education and the profession, with discussion focused on how students are being prepared for practice, the skills and expectations shaping today’s profession, and where gaps may exist between academic preparation and the realities of practice.

Participants will examine educational pathways into architecture, emerging professional needs, and opportunities for stronger collaboration among schools, students, and practitioners. The conversation will also identify practical ways the architectural community can better support emerging professionals and prepare the next generation of architects to serve both the profession and the communities in which they work.
