President’s Update 2018 Q’3

AIA Newark & Suburban Members:

I hope you are enjoying your Labor Day weekend, and a few days of rest before we head into the busy fall season. It continues to be my pleasure to serve as 2018 President of AIA Newark & Suburban Architects, the local component association that represents our chosen profession.

Our Board Officers and Trustees continue to work on offering AIA Core Member Service benefits and opportunities including -- member meetings, networking, continuing education programs, building tours, and public awareness about architecture topics in our communities.

AIANS 2018 Design Awards program is coming up in less than two weeks so it is still not too late for members to submit design boards. No matter how small or large the project, whether built or unbuilt work, submitting design boards is a great way to showcase your work with colleagues, and have presentation boards for display in your office.
