About Erin Mahoney, AIA, CDT, LEED AP

A Technical Director and Principal in Gensler’s Morristown office, Erin specializes in refining architectural processes and mitigating risk, which translates into established best practices and value for Gensler’s clients. She brings more than 25 years of experience in a range of practice areas including headquarters, building repositioning, media, tech, and law firm workplaces. Her expertise includes optimization of the design and delivery process for building repositioning projects to create spaces that are flexible, efficient, and attractive to prospective tenants, while increasing client return on investment. As a passionate mentor, she uses her depth of knowledge to champion technical excellence and help shape the next generation of leaders in the field of architecture.

Her leadership was essential to the Gateway repositioning project, which transformed a dated office complex into a large mixed-use destination in Newark, N.J. Erin’s involvement in award-winning pharmaceutical headquarters Organon in Jersey City and Bristol Myers Squibb in Lawrenceville showcases her exactitude and streamlined approach to large and complex projects. Erin holds a Bachelor of Architecture in Environmental Design from North Carolina State University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
