What was your favorite recent project?

I don't have a favorite. I like projects that have a good team of me, an interior design and a good contractor and we all work together.

I still don't but it gets closer and closer every year.

What would be your dream job or a project you'd like to work on?

A tiny house for a vacation rental on a lake. I love small houses with tricky constraints.

What do you like to do when you are not working?

Pickleball. Play with my kids.

What are 3 facts about you that make you unique?

  1. I used to Scottish Dance competitively for 10 year.
  2. I used to play the harmonica in a (very amateur) band.
  3. I met my husband because I was a fan of his touring band.

Who or what are your inspirations for architecture?

Marvin Clawson, William J Martin, Jonathan Pearlstein, Tom Kligerman.

Who or what are your inspirations for life?

Have more time to play more pickleball and travel.

What’s exciting about what you are doing now in the office?

Working with fun teams to transform old dated houses into beautiful spaces.

What advice would you give to recent graduates entering the professional world?

Don't get upset when you make mistakes. Take criticism well and thank people for giving you feedback.
